Described by the Lonely Planet as “the granddaddy of all lighthouses” it has also earned the title of the number one lighthouse in the world.
Visitors can take a guided tour up the 115 steps of the lighthouse tower, where panoramic views of the rugged Wexford coastline await. The visitor centre includes a gift shop, exhibition and a cosy café offering light bites and sweet treats.
